Briiee

So my trip to utah has been pretty good so far, I got to my uncles house at 3 in the morning....yuck. I spent a good portion of the day hanging with my cuz Karissa, i am looking forward to dinner my uncle is making stew :D and I am starving. I can't wait for tomorrow either I get to spend the whole day with my best friend carmen.

So the past few days have been a mixture of frustration, celebration (my sisters B-Day was on the 15th), and pure, unending boredom. Usually I can draw for hours, but for the past few day I swear my little creative elf that lives inside my cranium has been sleeping. At least today it seems it has finally woken up from its session of hibernation, I have finally come up with my major project for the summer. I am going to try and draw my rendition of Atlantis. I hope it goes well :D so I hope to have it finished by the end of the summer break....anyone that feels like bothering someone go ahead and bother me and encourage me to get it done :P

Today, being my first official day of actually focusing on my art, I feel like I am really starting to get a grasp on my genre of art. It would appear that I draw realistic fantasy the best, but I am far from considering myself adept in this genre. I have so very much more to learn. I am starting my journey off learning from Dragonart Books and Tom Kidd Books. I hope to soon be able to post some of my work, both new and old, but I am away from a scanner at the moment. My favorite things to draw within this genre are Dragons, elves, faeries, humans, vampires, centaurs. I also like Fantasy Landscapes but I have yet to draw a successful landscap
